There are long sandy beaches where there is a choice of being among crowds or walking a little further to a more peaceful spot. There are isolated pebbly coves where very few people visit. The nearest beach to the cottage is about 25 minutes walk away.

Leisure

There are a variety of walks, some direct from the front door, to suit all abilities from sandy beaches and woodlands for inexperienced walkers to mountains for the hardened climber. An abundance of wildlife can be enjoyed, including squirrels, birds, farm animals and wild goats. Other leisure activities/locations can be found nearby.

Castles
North Wales has a good selection of castles dating back to the 12th Century. Some have been restored, some are ruins and others no more than mounds and earthworks. All described here are within an hour's drive.
