The benefit of France is that it is far enough to be exotic and have better weather, but near enough to be accessible with autistic children.
There are many places to go. My favourite is in the south west of France, but it isn’t the only option.
Located in the stunning protected Parc Regional protected forest area south of Limoges, you will have the peace and tranquility of the countryside, without any noisy neighbours or other tourists!

This is the perfect holiday cottage with its own garden, for you and your autistic children). Most holiday cottages have close and noisy neighbours (without much autism awareness) and noisy areas which might be stressful for autistic people with additional needs.
We plan for the whole family, for each family member to have fun. Our autism friendly holiday house and gardens is designed specifically to foster a non judgemental environment. Set in a remote area of outstanding natural beauty, it is tranquil and quiet, with life at a relaxed pace, yet only 10 minutes from all the amenities you might need. There is plenty of open space to run and explore
Your autistic child wont struggle at our holiday cottage because, as we have our own autistic son, we have gone through every process to provide outstanding facilities for you. You children will be able to enjoy what is a new environment for them, because it is all planned and prepared for them.
Self Catering Accommodation
Our autism friendly self catering facilities are spread out and safe, in the modern Banquet Hall, for you to enjoy meals together as a whole family. We provide holidays for you all to cook and eat meals together, whether indoors or outside in the sun.
You can come as one family or multiple families. Maybe bring your favourite pet dog
Travel Advice
Passing through an airport with special needs, learning difficulties or other disabilities can be tricky, so it is best to increase autism awareness with the lanyard or autism headphones to increase disability awareness. London Gatwick airport and other large airports have particularly noisy areas but staff are trained to arrange assistance or medical equipment as necessary.
Local Attractions
We are next to a working farm, so that is always popular with the kids, especially with special needs!
There are many other things to do and places to visit in the area, including a sandy beach at the local lakes, to get them out and about and off site and off the wi fi (we have unlimited wifi at the house).
